HR Department
The management office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. The management office is led by the regional director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supportive, and coordinating role, the management office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations so that the political direction is reflected in the region's various operations. In this way, Region Uppsala can fulfill its role, both regionally and nationally.

Our Operations
The HR department within Region Uppsala is led by the HR director and consists of about 150 employees. The department is organized into operational support and functional areas such as Work Environment and Health, Law and Agreements, Competence and Leadership, and HR Center. The HR department works on behalf of the regional management and is responsible for overall strategic HR work in Region Uppsala. The mission of the HR department is to develop and provide qualitative support to operations, elected representatives, the political organization, and administrative management. The department will also implement decisions within the employer area and participate in regional and national collaborations and assignments.
The HR department is now looking for an experienced and committed HR partner who will be placed within the HR unit for the management office of Region Uppsala.
Your Assignment
The HR partner role is a generalist role where you work to provide consultative and proactive support to the region's managers in all HR processes, such as competence supply, work environment and rehabilitation, union collaboration, labor law, wage formation issues, and complex personnel matters. Participation in region-wide HR projects may also occur.
As an HR partner, you will convey HR issues and adapt them to relevant recipients such as management, collaboration, and management groups. You will work closely with the managers and the operations you support and identify needs for support and any necessary changes within the HR area. You are a strong force in identifying needs in all HR matters, formulating proposals, tailoring these to target groups, and supporting change management.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree in human resources or similar with many years of experience in broad HR work. Experience from the public sector is advantageous, as well as very good knowledge of labor law legislation and other relevant agreements.
You have solid experience in all HR processes. You have extensive experience supporting managers, both individually and in groups, in all types of qualified HR work. You should have a good ability to quickly understand new processes and working methods and confidently coach managers and operations in all HR matters.

We Offer
A permanent full-time position with trust-based working hours, with start date according to agreement. You will be employed in the HR department with placement in the operational HR unit that supports the management office.
Our modern office is located in the center of Uppsala, directly adjacent to Uppsala travel center.
